Weave the branches of the birch into the wreath and tighten the floral work with the wire. Then decorate the floral work with the fibres of raffia (i.e. we wind it round). Attach the butterflies and the thread of florist wire on the floral work. But before that string the heads of pearl on the thread and tie every head separately not to let it fall down the thread. On the end of the thread of the florist wire attach the butterfly marking its "free flight" as the thread is almost invisible. Tie the thread to the edge of the floral work. The floral work is ready. ![]() ![]() 3. Pass to the treatment of the flowers. We'll need 5 roses (of any colour you like), a good tuft of stillgras or bergras (it is cheaper and easier to get).Cut all the leaves and thorns of the roses. It is better to cut them with the secateur because it is simple, convenient and safe for the flowers. Bind the tuft of stillgras with the raffia of the same colour so that your attachment was not so visible. Cut the ends of the stillgras if they are dried or if you think they are too long. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 4. The flowers are ready to be put into the floral work. Insert the flower after flower in the floral work (not in the empty inside space of the floral work but directly between the branches composing the floral work). You can put the buds of the flowers immediately on the floral work (or you can place them higher - over the floral work - as our florist has done). ![]() ![]() 5. Insert the tuft of stillgras in the centre of the empty space of the floral work. Level the flowers so that they were on the demanded height in reference to the floral work. ![]() 6. Bind the bouquet with the raffia (very, very tightly) in order that the flowers won't drop out of the bouquet and won't change their position in the composition. After that tighten the bouquet with the armoured belt and shape it as you like. ![]() ![]() The bouquet is ready! Remember that the most important thing is not to follow all the instructions but to create by yourself. And only then the person who will get it will like it. Good luck!
You’ll need: secateur (it’s better to use the secateur but you can also use a sharp knife or scissors at worst), a floral wire, Venetian pearl (you can buy it in every drapery store or simply unravel old beads), a big knife, scissors, a plastic (ceramic) ornamental flowerpot or basket, a floral oasis, a floral sellotape, felt (or any other packaging material), a sealing tape of the same colour as the felt (i.e. to that packaging material that you’ve chosen), a dragonfly and other elements for decorating the composition (according to your taste and choice). 5 yellow roses, 5 branches of statitsa, 3 irises, bergras, branches of fern, branches of ruskus, gypsophilla. ![]() ![]() ![]() 1. First cut the floral oasis to get the necessary size so that it could be placed in the ornamental flowerpot where it could fit tightly to the insides. Wet the oasis well enough so that it became completely soaked. Pay your attention to the fact that it is better to wet the oasis holding it with its letters up words. When the oasis changes its colour (becomes darker), becomes completely soaked, you may take it from the basin and put it in the ornamental flowerpot. Fix the oasis in the ornamental flowerpot with the sellotape to prevent it from falling out of it while moving the composition. Wrap up the ornamental flowerpot round with the packaging felt and fix it with the decorative ribbon. ![]() ![]() ![]() 2. Cutting the branches of fern in such a way so that they fit in the size (depth) of your ornamental flowerpot, insert them beginning from the edge of the oasis (as it is shown on the picture). Take the tuft of bergras and tie it up with the floral wire. It will help you to insert the tuft of bergras into the composition without any problems. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 3. Cut the roses in such a way so that their length fits the whole design of the composition. You may choose the direction and the shape of the composition at will, as you imagine it. Or do it the same way as the florist suggests. Do the same operations with irises, statitsa and the branches of ruskus. String the heads of pearl on the stem of bergras and add some branches of gypsophilla into the composition. Beautify the composition with the decorating elements (a dragonfly, ladybirds and others).
